We have seen a lot of smart characters in anime. There is one in almost every anime….but some of them have left their marks….they are the smartest. They could do almost anything, have a huge IQ that we can only dream of and lastly they always make the anime more interesting. These are by far the smartest anime characters in my opinion. The genius younger brother from the anime Ao no exorcist or Blue exorcist. Yukio is a genius. He has become an exorcist at the age of 13, the youngest exorcist ever. At the age of 15 he was already a teacher in the exorcist’ school. Cool isn’t he?

Our favourite mad scientist from Stein’s;Gate. Okabe made a machine that can send a message to the past. He got trapped in a time loop, had to made sacrifices but at the end he understood the mystery of time travel.

8. Kisuke Urahara

Kisuke Urahara is one of my favourite character from Bleach and the smartest one in that anime. He created the hougyoku which was the most powerful item in Bleach. He is very good in battle most of the time he out smart the enemy and win the battle.

7. Armin Arlelt

The shy and insecure boy from Attack on Titans or Sengeki no Kyojin. But as the series progresses we see what a genius he is. His ability to analyze a situation and making appropriate plans to deal with it never ceases to amaze us.

6. Conan Edogawa(Shinichi Kudo)

The leading character from the series Detective Conan (Case Closed). A high school student Shinichi Kudo gets turned into a small boy Conan while investigating. But even then he continues to solve almost impossible cases. The series is one of the best detective series out there, trust me.
